Right after the passing of the deeds at the notary, we picked up the previous owner and went for a small tour of the utility companies of Aruba. Armed with our letter of proof of purchase of the house, ID's and our debit cards we went about getting everything transferred to our names. Total elapsed time: 2 hours - not bad considering we thought it'd take at least double that time.
